How we connect to your bank and protect your data.
You can reconnect your bank at any time in the Wollit app.
Bank connections expire periodically for security reasons, so you may need to reconnect from time to time. When this happens, we'll let you know.
Reconnecting only takes a minute — just follow the steps in the app.
Don't worry — this is normal. Bank connections expire periodically for security reasons.
Simply reconnect your bank in the Wollit app — it only takes a minute. Once reconnected, features like rent reporting and Affordability Boost will continue working as before.
We'll always let you know when your connection needs refreshing.
Wollit connects to one bank account at a time.
If you need to switch which account is connected — for example, if you've started paying rent from a different bank — you can update your connected bank in the app.
Make sure you connect the account your rent comes out of if you're using rent reporting.
If you'd like to delete your Wollit account or request your data be removed, contact us at [email protected].
We'll guide you through the process and explain what happens to any active subscription or reported data. Some information may need to be retained for legal or regulatory reasons, but we'll be clear about what that means for you.
Yes. Wollit takes data security seriously.
Your personal information is protected with encryption, and we're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for data protection.
Our bank connection is provided through TrueLayer, an FCA-regulated provider. We only have read-only access to your transactions — we can't move money or make payments. We never see or store your bank login details.
